Bio* I'm a social liberal
* I believe in sexual freedom and try hard to be non-judgemental about other people
* I am pro-choice
* I am opposed to the death penalty (even if it could be proved to be an effective
deterrent)
* I am a secular humanist and I passionately believe in the Enlightenment values of
compassion, tolerance and reason
* I believe in free trade and free markets
* I'm straight, and in an exclusive, long-term relationship with my partner that I'm very
happy with and not looking to change. We have no children.

* I am an advocate of Evidence-Based Practice and the wider use of statistics (especially
